About Us
Founded in 1991, Dunbar Rovers Football Club has grown from a single team into one of the leading clubs in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs Football Association (ESFA). Our name traces back to the Old Dunbar Hotel in Paddington — the post-match meeting place of our founding members and the birthplace of a club built on camaraderie, pride, and passion for football.
Today, Dunbar Rovers is home to 860+ members, with 36 teams across Junior and Senior football, catering to players aged 4 through to 65+, male and female alike. We are an independently run, volunteer-driven club, guided by a committed Board of Directors and supported by dedicated coaches, managers, and volunteers who uphold our values both on and off the field.
