The Prems were overcome by a strong Coogee side at the Reg, From the opening exchanges you really could not have seen what was coming as Dunbar contained Coogee fairly easity and had their own chances to take the lead. However, much the same as many games this season, the prems were punished for their lack of killer instinct. A quick freekick played forward to the Coogee CF who had his back to goal, turned onto his left foot and hit a speculative shot into the Top Right Hand Corner. 1-0 down and really it was against the run of play. However 1 was soon to turn into 2 as the prems defence put their hands up for offside but the assistant kept his down 2-0. From most peoples view he looked 5 yards offside but not from the assistants! 2-0 Became 3-0 from a Dunbar corner, as the defence left it 2v2 at the back and Coogee played some neat football for Oran to finish off. 3-0 dowm and coogee had had 3 shots to Dunbars 4 or 5.
Dunbar were actually playing pretty well and coach de Sousa could not believe his eyes at the scoreline as we really did not deserve to be 3-0 down. Dunbar did manage to pull one back via a penalty form Shauny after a handball. It was no less then they deserved but it was allways going to be a difficult task to come back. This was made even more difficult as Shauny had to be replaced after getting a knock on the head.
Dunbar brought on Hemmingway in an attempt to get back in the game and the next goal was going to be vital. Unfortunately for Dunbar the goal went to Coogee 4-1 and game over. Coogee then scored from a long ball that was flicked on to finish the scoring.
Coogee deserved to win this game but the scorline was a little flattering. Dunbar need to cut out the mistakes and take their chances when they come.
