Our current (NSW State Champion) Dunbar Rovers Prems have qualified for the ESFA Premier League Grand Final this coming Sunday. The amazing thing is that this game is going to be played at the Sydney Football Stadium, as the curtain raiser to the A-League clash between Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix. Kick off for the ESFA game is 2:15pm with the main game starting at 5pm. Opposition will be Waverley Old Boys, who play a fantastic brand of football themselves - so it promises to be a cracking game.
We would love to get as many people as possible along to support both the club and ESFA. We have already had considerable interest from within the club with a lot of tickets having already been requested and paid for.
Here are all the ticketing arrangements:
SPECIAL OFFER:
If you went to www.ticketek.com.au to purchase tickets to the game, you would need to pay $20 plus a $4.95 booking fee. Sydney FC have come to the party to offer ESFA member clubs a discounted price of $17.50, and Dunbar will subsidise this even further to charge you a price of ONLY $15, nearly a $10 saving on what it would cost you on admission normally. We should be really looking to get a very large crowd along to support both our Prems and also Eastern Suburbs football. We will ensure that the Dunbar ticket allocation will all be seated together.
BOOKING PROCESS:
To reserve your tickets, please transfer $15 for each ticket you wish to purchase into the Dunbar bank account (bank details on www.dunbarrovers.com) ENSURING YOU IDENTIFY YOURSELF BY NAME IN THE DESCRIPTION and send an email to admin@dunbarrovers.com to confirm it.
CONCESSION / KIDS TICKETS
As well as the $15 adult ticket, we are offering a student ticket for $10, and a child (4-16) ticket for $5. In your confirmation email, please indicate how many of each ticket you are requesting.
TICKET COLLECTION
At this stage we are working with ESFA and Sydney FC to see if we can get a central ticket pickup location outside the ground on Sunday to make it easy for people to get their tickets. More info on this tomorrow via email. Needless to say, DRFC will ensure that we have a workable process that will suit everyone.
TICKETING DEADLINE
Originally Thursday noon was when ESFA need to know how many tickets we need, so you know what you need to do. We will do our best to extend this until tomorrow to give people who received this info late the chance to purchase tickets.
