| A new leader emerges…. |
| BACK |
This week see’s a new leader sitting atop of the AA4 table, Redfern have laid out their stall and are very much the form team in the competition, winning their last seven games.
The table has opened up nicely after the completion of round 1, and it appears we have five teams now vying for the finals, with the winner from Glebe & Barnstoneworth this weekend still in with a chance.

To this weekends games
(Sat) Syd U 1 v Mascot Kings 2 – A low on confidence Uni with mid-semester exams on their minds will not be good enough against a Mascot who are running into a bit of form.
Glebe 1 v Barnstoneworth 1 – The battle for mid-table. Two teams who showed a lot of early promise, both desperate for points to stay in touch with the top 5, and both a bit low on confidence.
Pagewood 1 v Coogee 2 – Coogee desperate for points to stay in the hunt for a final spot will find it tough going against a Pagewood who season is surely now finished, but in the end will win out with pure determination.
Syd U 0 v Dunbar 2 – The kids from Uni will have a tough weekend loosing two from two with their minds elsewhere. Dunbar will be looking to bounce straight back after a physical double header last weekend.
Redfern 3 v Olympic 1 – The tastiest encounter of the weekend, one plays two in a battle to the death. These teams are both finals bound and after a 5 - 5 draw in round one, both will be looking for the physiological edge to take into the finals. Redfern will win out, as they are a very handy beach football team, and Turruwul (AKA Blackpool) looks lovely this time of year.
Queens Park 2 v Mascot 0 – Mascot, not the fittest looking team running round AA4 will find it hard backing up after their narrow win on Saturday, and will be put to the sword by a Queens Park looking to distance themselves from 5th place.
